Who Are We
We have funds to support the Deaf community who are isolated from the lockdown. Our volunteers are available at hand!
Good news! We have just found out that we were successful in our funding bid to run Our Space - Eastbourne for another 12 months.
Are you from Brighton & Hove? Would you like to see BSL on Brighton & Hove City Council's website? Then join us to make suggestions!
Open Space on Zoom is where we invite Deaf people from all walks of life to have a platform to talk about their lived experience and to answer questions.
Do you feel left out? Want to share your lockdown experience, share jokes or stories? Why not join our popular quiz nights on Zoom?
Our Space - Brighton has lots of interesting topics and presentations! Funded by the Tesco Bags of Help scheme.
If Bexhill is too far for you why not meet in Eastbourne instead? Close to the town centre and trains - a great place to meet and socialise!
In 2020 - Deaf people talked about their experience with lack of communication during the COVID-19 lockdown and the lack of support from public services.
This is a great place to find resources to help with your skills and knowledge. Videos are either in BSL or subtitles or both.
DeafCOG and Action Deafness work jointly, to provide one-to-one support to Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deaf-blind people.
Come and meet Deaf people for an informal chat over a meal and drink in Bexhill! Interested? Then come along to Cafe Social!
