Possability People - The Community Employment Service

Main Office, Montague House, Montague Place, Brighton BN2 1JE

What we do

Possability People’s Employment Service supports disabled people and people living with long-term health conditions (including mental health) who want to start or move back into work. We run courses, drop in sessions and one to one support, planned around your needs. We want to support you in a way which suits you and goes at your pace.

We have different programmes across Sussex, all the with the common goal of empowering people to overcome any potential barriers to getting a job, volunteering, or training. Please visit our website for information on our current programmes and locations at https://possabilitypeople.org.uk/our-services/employment-service/.

If you would like to talk to us, contact the team for a friendly, informal chat.

What we do

If you or someone you know has a disability, the Supported Employment Team may be able to provide advice or support to find or maintain work. By providing the right support, we can help develop job skills, look for paid or voluntary work and overcome barriers to employment. We work with disabled residents of Brighton & Hove, over the age of 18, with priority given to;

* People with learning disabilities
* People with autism:

- Young disabled adults, under 25 years old, who are ‘Not In Education, Employment or Training’ (NEET)
- People with disabilities who already have a job or a firm job offer and they and their employer need our help to maintain that job
- People who demonstrate motivation and a commitment to participating in searching for work and a genuine desire to be employed
